Les Summer Programs et la préparation des tests d’admission aux universités américaines .

Tous les étudiants qui désirent poursuivre des études dans les grandes universités américaines sont confrontés à la nécessité de passer les tests standardisés comme le TOEFL, le GMAT, le SAT, le LSAT et bien d'autres.

 

Ces tests sont ardus et nécessitent un réel entrainement avec des livres pratiques adéquats et parfois des cours organisés par des instituts spécialisés.

Certains étudiants choisissent de coupler les deux formations. Le matin ils assistent aux cours du Summer Program et l’après-midi, ils vont suivre les cours des instituts spécialisés dans la préparation des tests standardisées. 

Cela fait du travail supplémentaire mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle et c'est une manière de maximiser son investissement dans les études.

Business Schools, strategy games and role-playing

One of methods of teaching business is undoubtedly the use of strategy games and role playing.

It is of course fun and distracting and therefore makes the material easier to learn.

It is also a practical tool for analyzing and working on business cases.

It is also a surprising angle which helps to break the monotony of work.

But above all, it is awfully good!

A growing number of teachers use this type of role playing in Business Schools, tackling strategy and confronting arising issues.

One of the best ways is probably to create games tailored to the needs of the class of business and finance and adapted to students: age, culture, tastes, competent, and desire to learn. One of our colleagues cited a series of games based on the traditional game called RISK, the Conquest of the World, in which students were brought unashamedly to seek pure and simple business and financial domination of the planet.

European Central Bank, Federal Reserve, Government Chinese, American, European, European Commission, American Federal Treasury, and the main investment banks, hedge funds and commercial banks around the world were associated, made alliances, betrayed each other, did reconcile, etc. leading to the triumph of the single one of them ...

Business Schools, stratégie et jeux de rôles

Une de méthodes d’enseignement du business est sans aucun doute l’utilisation des jeux de stratégie et des jeux de rôle.

C’est bien entendu ludique et distractif et donc une moyen de rendre l’apprentissage de la matière plus aisé.

C'est aussi un outil concret pour analyser et travailler les business cases.

C’est également un angle surprenant qui permet de rompre la monotonie du travail.

Mais c’est aussi et surtout terriblement efficace !

Un nombre croissant de professeurs utilise en classe ce type de jeux de rôle.

La meilleure manière est d’en créer sur mesure pour les besoins de la classe de busines et de finance et de les adapter aux étudiants : Age, culture, gouts, compétentes, et désir d’apprendre. Un de nos collègues citait une série de jeux de rôles financiers basés sur le jeu traditionnel appelée RISK, la Conquête du Monde, dans lesquels les étudiants étaient amenés sans complexe à rechercher la domination la domination financière pure et simple de la planète.

Banque Centrale Européenne, Federal Reserve, Gouvernements Chinois, Américain, Européen, Commission Européenne, Trésor Fédéral Américain, et les principales banques d’affaires, hedge funds et banques de la planète, s’associaient, s’alliaient, se réconciliaient, se trahissaient, pour aboutir au triomphe unique de l’une d’entre elles…

Ce collègue m’a dit ensuite qui avait gagné… surprenant…

Anti-money laundering measures and the fight against terrorism

Recent international events show it enough, tracking international financial transactions is essential to maintain the security of the Countries and the States. 

Anti-money laundering measures, originally created to fight against international drug trafficking and against terrorism, today see their legitimacy affirmed by the fight against what might be called the massive terrorism or terrorist war.

More than ever, money is the fuel of war. This is why the military and the countries use AML to undermine the efficiency of the terrorist attacks and make it as primary weapon in the war on terror. 

The question is when and how to implement and develop these essential steps without threatening the flow of international financial transactions.

Obviously no one has a complete and detailed response.

It is perhaps this uncertainty that terrorist groups also seek to maintain as their weapon of terror.

Mesures anti-blanchiment et lutte contre le terrorisme

Les récents évènements internationaux le montrent suffisamment, le traçage des transactions financières internationales est essentiel pour maintenir la sécurité des Etats.

Les mesures anti blanchiment,  à l’origine créées pour lutter contre le trafic international de la drogue puis contre le terrorisme voient aujourd’hui leur légitimité affirmée par la lutte contre ce que l’on pourrait appeler le terrorisme massif ou la guerre terroriste.

Plus que jamais l’argent étant le nerf de la guerre, c'est à lui que les militaires et les Etats s'attaquent pour réduire leurs ennemis et les menaces qui pèsent sur eux.

La question est de savoir quand et comment mettre en œuvre et développer ces mesures essentielles sans menacer la fluidité des transactions financières internationale.

Bien évidemment personne n’a la réponse complète et détaillée.

C’est peut-être cette incertitude que les groupes terroristes cherchent aussi à entretenir comme arme de la terreur.
